Is 13 Seasons part of a particular religion?
We want 13 Seasons to be useful to anyone of any faith tradition, philosophy, or belief system.
Those of us who discovered the virtue seasons are devoted believers in Jesus Christ and that definitely informs our thinking. We see Jesus as the ultimate example of virtue and believe his grace somehow facilitates the power behind the virtue seasons. But we don't want anyone to have to share all of our beliefs in order to benefit from this site.
If you have any ideas about how to make 13 Seasons more accessible to people of all belief systems, let us know!
We especially welcome anyone who wants to share how their faith tradition's beliefs or sacred texts help them better understand virtue. We'd like to add more examples from different philosophies, spiritual traditions, sacred texts, and cultures to the explanations of the 13 virtues.
